about Dalcroze

Who is it for?

The Third Age

Studies have shown how Dalcroze can have many benefits for the older person including developing a greater security of movement through increased strength, coordination and balance.

Regular work in Dalcroze enables us to maintain the body’s ability to react quickly, and games and exercises directed through music keep the ears active and the mind agile. These skills have their benefits outside the Dalcroze session through increased confidence in physical ability, increased awareness and ability to respond quickly.

Group sessions enable people to meet and work with others of a similar age. It is fun, stimulating and health-giving.
