Summer School
Description: A one-week course for anyone new to Dalcroze as well as intermediate and advanced level training. Daily classes in movement, rhythmics, improvisation and solfa. The week also offers an opportunity to observe children’s classes and to take part in one-to-one sessions relating to performance (Applied Rhythmics) along with a variety of other workshops.

Intensive Weekends Course (Foundation & Second Years)
Description: Certificate Level training over 12 weekends (2 years)

Weekly Training
Description: A foundation course in rhythmics and improvisation, leading towards possible examination in these modules at Certificate level after a further year’s training.

Easter Course
Description: A three-day course providing an integrated musical education and training through the three core disciplines of Dalcroze Eurhythmics: rhythmics, solfège/solfa and improvisation (vocal & instrumental). The course will be offered at four levels:
- Those with little or no experience
- Those with some experience or who are studying for the Certificate
- Certificate level students
- Those with considerable experience or who are studying for the Licence.
The programme includes:
- A daily movement warm up
- Rhythmics
- Solfège/Solfa pitch training
- Improvisation (including playing for rhythmics exercises at level 3)
- Pedagogical principles
- Creative movement
- Performances

Description: Find out about Dalcroze together with Kodaly and Orff - a weekend of workshops exploring the benefits of these three great active music education methods. Introductory classes in Dalcroze for Early Years, KS1 & 2 children together with workshops on the second day specialising in a particular area of education (In the past these have included Improvisation the Dalcroze Way and Using Dalcroze in Instrumental Teaching.
