Summer School - Canterbury
Description: A week long course for those new to Dalcroze as well as for those training at intermediate and advanced levels. Daily classes are given in movement, rhythmics, improvisation and solfa. The week also offers an opportunity to take part in one-to-one sessions relating to performance (Applied Rhythmics) along with a variety of other workshops.

Dalcroze Certificate Training Course - London

Description: Professional Training in Dalcroze Eurhythmics over 2 years for musicians, dancers and teachers with a strong background in music. Musical literacy, singing in tune, competency on the piano and good physical co-ordination are pre-requisites.

Intensive Weekend Licence Training Course - Cambridge
Description: This Licence training course will supply only the principal branches of Dalcroze Eurhythmics. Students may be recommended to take supplementary supporting classes in movement, piano or harmony. This is to be arranged by the student locally.
Licence Course entry requirements:
- Certificate of the Dalcroze Society UK or equivalent. (Additional music training is required in piano and harmony).
- Piano equivalent to Associated Board Grade 7. Those whose technical keyboard skills fall below this level should be prepared and able to take additional piano lessons before or on entering the programme. The study of repertoire for the piano will be required for this course.
- Keyboard Harmony: familiarity with triads and 7th chords up to 4 sharps and flats. Major keys and relative minors (ideally all keys)
- Movement Knowledge: differentiated and expressive movement of the whole body showing very good control and co-ordination; fluency, ease and appropriateness in all changes of direction, weight and energy. Good use of feet and legs.

Easter Course - Manchester
Description: A three and a half day course providing an integrated musical education and training through the three core disciplines of Dalcroze Eurhythmics: rhythmics, solfège/solfa and improvisation (vocal & instrumental). The course will be offered at four levels:
- Those with little or no experience
- Those with some experience or who are studying for the Certificate
- Certificate level students
- Those with considerable experience or who are studying for the Licence.
The programme includes:
- A daily movement warm up
- Rhythmics
- Solfège/Solfa pitch training
- Improvisation (including playing for rhythmics exercises at level 3)
- Pedagogical principles
- Creative movement
- Performances

Stepping into Music
Description:
Stepping into Music is a flexible Early Years workshop and accredited training programme, delivered by the Dalcroze Society in partnership with local authorities and arts agencies. Music and Movement sessions based on Dalcroze Eurhythmics principles take place in Early Years settings, initially led by Dalcroze Society Music Leaders, then by trainees, who formulate and deliver a scheme of work as part of the accredited course. Trainees are musicians, dancers or Early Years Practitioners (no musical training is necessary).
The accredited training programme consists of
- Three off-site weekend courses across a twelve month period
- Observation of experienced Dalcroze leaders in Early Years settings set up by the trainees
- Sessions led by the trainees with leader support
- Written assignments and portfolio
In Service Training and Professional Development options are also available to education and early years settings, arts and music organisations and other interested agencies.
